One thing I can say about California politics is they're not boring.
First appearances indicate that Arnie, for all his faults, is exactly who he campaigned to be--someone willing to make hard choices and affect millions of people in order to fix the state's budget problems. You don't like the car tax? Fine. We slash university spending and cut off green stamps for families leaving welfare.
The question is: will voters decide they don't want what they say they wanted?
